Volumising Treatments
One of the unavoidable signs of ageing is the loss of volume in our face creating lines, folds and wrinkles, but at Cosmetic Image Clinics we can provide consultations for the treatment of submental fat loss.
Injectables treatments can replace the volume in areas where these fat pads may have weakened over time, restoring lost volume and improving the appearance of the skin.

After your initial consultation with one of our clinical aesthetic team, they will advise you on a treatment plan which includes the areas of treatment, cost and most importantly how to achieve your desired outcome. This may include other treatments such as Anti-Wrinkle Muscle Relaxants and other Facial Rejuvenation treatments that we offer at our clinic.
If you would like numbing cream to be applied prior to your procedure, please do not hesitate to ask. Ideally, this should to be done half an hour prior to your procedure, but even 10 minutes of application of numbing cream will help. We often use ice as well to minimise discomfort. We pride ourselves on making your experience as comfortable as possible.
The procedure will take approximately an hour, which includes the numbing time. One of our clinical aesthetic team will gently inject the Dermal Filler under your skin to fill the folds, wrinkles or to provide plumpness to your lips, restoring your skins volume and smoothing away wrinkles and creases in the skin. They will then gently massage the treated areas to ensure even distribution.
After your treatment, there is minimal downtime or recovery.
You may experience slight swelling, redness, pain and firmness to the treated areas. These symptoms are usually mild to moderate and improve after approximately 7 days or less. You can use an ice pack on the area treated if you have any swelling. If symptoms persist or you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our clinic on 07 3003 4000.
You should see immediate results from your Dermal Filler treatment and results can last for up to 12 months, but results may vary and touch up treatments may be required to reach your desired results.
Mineral make-up can be applied to the face after treatment. At Cosmetic Image Clinics we have Issada Australian-owned boutique mineral range of make-up available, so please don’t hesitate to ask our highly trained staff for a make-up application before you leave the clinic.
