Sun damage and age are contributing factors to skin looking and feeling tired.
You don’t have to hide those skin imperfections such as pigmentation, redness, brown age spots, burst capillaries etc. behind makeup any longer. IPL Photorejuvenation is the latest non-surgical treatment for pigmentation and redness.
IPL Photorejuvenation while treating these conditions can also help to improve the tone and texture of your skin, which is why it is considered to be one of the most effective cosmetic therapies available.
So you don’t have to live with these unwanted skin problems any longer, IPL Photorejuvenation can help your skin to look good every day and in turn give you more confidence in yourself and your appearance. Making the makeup cover-up a thing of the past.

As with any cosmetic medical procedure there is always a risk as no two bodies respond to treatment the same way. Prolonged redness and swelling can sometimes occur and last up to 4 days after your treatment. For people with darker skin tones you may have white patches appear on the skin a couple of weeks after your treatment, this can last for 2 weeks to up to a year, but also has the potential of being permanent.
Darker patches of pigment on the skin can occur (this is not the immediate darkening of pigment that occurs when treating pigmentation) and can last for 2 weeks to up to a year, this is also more likely for people with darker skin tone.
Blistering rarely occurs. Please ensure that if you do get a blister, do not pick it as it may leave a scar. Contact us at Cosmetic Image Clinics on 07 3003 4000 if you are at all concerned.

You may experience a slight burning (sunburn-like) sensation after treatment, which can last for up to a day, the skin may also appear slightly red in appearance.
Your skin will be sensitive to heat for the following couple of days, so cooler showers or baths are advised.
-
As each patient is different it is not possible to completely predict how many treatments you will need, which range from one to eight treatments, but on average patients require around three to four treatments to achieve their desired result.
Many clients benefit from maintenance treatments once or twice a year after their course of treatment, especially if there is an underlying medical condition such as Rosacea. At Cosmetic Image Clinics our professional clinical aesthetic team provide personalised treatment for our patients.
