  • Laser Genesis treatment is suitable for both men and women, assisting in turning back the clock and giving you more youthful looking skin. It is suitable for treating the premature signs of ageing, unevenness of the skin, sun damage, diffuse redness of the skin (conditions such as rosacea), large pores, fine lines and wrinkles and scarring.

  • Laser Genesis can achieve excellent results in treating the face and neck and may be used to treat scarring in some instances.

  • Laser Genesis is a very gentle procedure that many patients describe as being soothing, therapeutic and relaxing. The laser is held above the skin and generates a gentle heat that warms the skin.

  • Laser Genesis is non-invasive and you can return to normal activities straight after your treatment. You will need to ensure that you use SPF 30+ sunblock for any outdoor activities.

  • On the day of your treatment you will need to remove any make-up or moisturizers and, in some cases, you may be asked to shave the area to be treated. You will not require numbing cream or other forms of anaesthetic.

  • As each patient is different it is not possible to completely predict how many treatments you will need, but on average you may need four to six treatments to achieve ideal results anywhere between one week and four weeks apart. After your initial consultation our doctor will advise you the recommended number of treatments required.

  • There are very few reports of any side effects after Laser Genesis the most common is a slight redness that disappears within a few hours of treatment.
