If you want to have that feeling of the wind blowing through your hair again, by growing back your own hair without surgery, then Regen or Platelet Rich Plasma (Regen PRP) could be the answer.
We all shed approximately 100 hairs per day as part of the standard hair growth cycle, but excess loss can be quite distressing.
Hair loss for both men and women can be something that is hard to accept and make you feel self-conscious.
Hair loss can affect practically anyone, it is not just ageing men who suffer from this condition. It’s a non-discriminative condition, which has many causes.
Some of the causes of hair loss or baldness (technically known as alopecia), can be severe hairstyles or treatments, hormone imbalances, illness or surgery, medications and nutritional deficits or ageing.
If you are sick of trying all the creams and lotions, but are not ready or reluctant to have hair transplant procedures or surgery, then Regen PRP can stimulate hair growth using your own blood platelets.
The Platelet Rich Plasma procedure is relatively quick, with mild discomfort and minimal downtime, so if this appeals to you then let us help you to get your desired hair regrowth outcome.

What is Regen PRP?
Regen PRP helps to attack hair loss from all angles. By enhancing scalp health, speeding-up hair regrowth and encouraging regeneration of the hair follicle, which makes it both restorative and preventative against further hair loss. But most importantly it is a natural treatment and there are no scalpels or surgery involved.

What does the Regen PRP procedure involve?
The procedure involves the collection of your own blood, which is then spun in a centrifuge to concentrate your blood platelets, separating out the plasma and platelets from the red blood cells.
Once this process is completed the hair loss area is anaesthetised and stimulated by skin needling, using the Platelet Rich Plasma. The concentrated blood platelets stimulate hair growth due to the growth factors in your own plasma.
What can I expect after the Regen PRP treatment?
After the Regen PRP treatment you will experience slight discomfort and minimal downtime.
Your skin around the treated area will appear red and flushed immediately afterwards, it may feel a little like a mild-sunburn. This usually subsides within 24 hours after the treatment, given this is located on the scalp it is usually not obvious to other people that you have had treatment.
There may also be some minor swelling or bruising at the injection locations.
How many Regen PRP treatments are required and are the hair growth results immediate?
To optimise your hair growth it is suggested that you have treatments every 2 to 4 weeks, with a review done approximately 6 months later and then you will be assessed to see if you require a top up treatment.
Hair growth will not be immediate it will start to become noticeable approximately 3 to 4 months after your initial treatment. This will steadily improve over the subsequent months.
