Want to improve the appearance and texture of your rough or wrinkly hands?
We often think of our faces and necks first when we think of ageing, but our hands can give away our age.
Hands are often ignored when it comes to anti-ageing procedures, despite them being relatively easy to improve.
A treatment using Dermal Fillers to plump up the look of the hands can assist in making them look younger. Combining this procedure with a laser treatment, a peel or IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) Photorejuvenation can further help to restore the appearance of your hands.
With facial and neck rejuvenation growing in popularity, your hands can tend to look particularly old in comparison, if left untreated.
You often take the time to get a manicure or some gorgeous nail art, so don’t neglect your hands.
If you believe that your hands don’t reflect the rest of your appearance, then it may be time to think about hand rejuvenation.

Is there any pain when having dermal fillers for hand rejuvenation?
You may experience minimal discomfort when having your dermal filler treatment for hand rejuvenation.
If you would like numbing cream to be applied prior to your procedure, please do not hesitate to ask. Ideally, this should to be done half an hour prior to your procedure, but even 10 minutes of application of numbing cream will help. We often use ice as well to minimise discomfort.
We pride ourselves on making your experience as comfortable as possible.
Are Dermal Skin Fillers safe?
Dermal Skin Fillers have been available for over 20 years and at Cosmetic Image Clinics the fillers we use have been fully tested and approved.
What are the potential side effects of Dermal Skin Fillers and who should not have fillers?
You may experience slight swelling, redness, discomfort and firmness to the treated areas. These symptoms are usually mild to moderate and improve after approximately 7 days or less. You can use an ice pack on the area treated if you have any swelling and take Panadol for pain. (Please do not use Ibuprofen/Nurofen as this increases your risk of bruising).
If symptoms persist or you have any concerns, please do not hesitate to contact our clinic on 07 3003 4000.
Dermal fillers have not been tested on pregnant or breast feeding women and therefore should not be used during these times.
