Priapus Shot® (P-Shot®)

The Priapus Shot® (also known as P-Shot®) can enhance the size of the penis and improve men’s sexual performance.P-Shot Erectile Dysfunction

There are many medical conditions that can cause men to experience male sexual dysfunction or erectile dysfunction such as enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, the after-effects of surgery, drug side effects, hypertension, high cholesterol and other conditions such as diabetes.

P-Shot® is delivered using the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedure, which uses your own blood to stimulate healing and rejuvenation.

P-Shot® benefits typically include improved circulation within the penis, increased sensation, enhanced sexual performance and stronger erections. Some men also report changes to the girth and length of the penis.

Medically P-Shot® using PRP can also improve the discomfort of the prostate and improve urinary incontinence.

The PRP procedure uses 100% your own blood by-product, which is sometimes referred to as ‘autologous platelet therapy’.  Because it is a part of your own blood, it will not cause hypersensitivity or allergic reactions.

Don’t be worried! By means of a natural approach using your own healing powers stored in your blood we can alleviate the anxiety caused from sexual or erectile dysfunction.

What is Priapus Shot® (P-Shot®)?

P-Shot® is a natural procedure using your own blood derived plasma designed to deliver improvements in sexual function in men.

P-Shot® is delivered using the Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) procedure, which uses your own blood to stimulate healing and rejuvenation.

A quick and easy blood draw by our experienced doctor or nurses is the first step of the procedure. Then, your blood sample is spun down in the clinic’s centrifuge while you have numbing cream on the area being treated.

This process of centrifuging your blood sample separates your plasma into different layers. The platelet rich layer is extracted and then injected just under your skin surface, either with a needle or using a needle free technique with a cannula which is a small blunt tube.

What causes male sexual dysfunction or erectile dysfunction?

There are many medical conditions that can cause men to experience male sexual dysfunction or erectile dysfunction such as enlarged prostate, prostate cancer, the after-effects of surgery, drug side effects, hypertension, high cholesterol and other conditions such as diabetes.

How does P-Shot® work and what are the benefits?

P-Shot® uses your own blood to stimulate healing and rejuvenation.

The benefits typically include improved circulation within the penis, increased sensation, enhanced sexual performance and stronger erections. Some men also report changes to the girth and length of the penis.

P-Shot® using PRP can also improve medical conditions such as the discomfort of the prostate and urinary incontinence.

Is the P-Shot® procedure painful?

You will experience minimal to no pain during the P-Shot® procedure.

Numbing cream is applied approximately half an hour prior to the procedure. The small injections are quite comfortable. The needle is smaller than that commonly used by diabetics to inject their insulin.

To further minimise discomfort, a vibrating instrument may be applied to the area being treated which limits the transmission of pain impulses to the pain fibres. We often use ice as well to minimise discomfort. Taking two paracetamol tablets one hour prior to the procedure can also help. Avoid ibuprofen (Advil or Nurofen) as this can increase bruising.

For the needle phobes we offer other forms of pain relief so talk to our staff upon arrival.

At Cosmetic Image Clinics we pride ourselves on making your experience as comfortable as possible.

Who cannot have the P-Shot® procedure?

People with blood disorders or infectious blood borne diseases such as Hepatitis cannot have Platelet Rich Plasma (PRP) therapy.

P-Shot® does not work well in smokers as the poisons in the cigarettes will kill the growth of the stem cells that are recruited and fertilised by PRP.

What is the aftercare for the P-Shot® procedure?

There are no specific after-care requirements after the P-Shot® procedure.
