Ageing and sun damage are the skins enemies, they along with other lifestyle choices can contribute to damaged unhealthy looking skin.
This hydration and therapeutic needling treatment using the V2 Injector (also known as Vital Injector 2) uses injections and needling to nourish and help repair the skin.
Fibroblasts will be triggered, encouraging new collagen and elastin in the skin delivering healthy-looking, radiant, hydrated skin.
The goal of Skin Beauty Booster is to treat the skin, not to fill lines or increase volume as occurs when using Anti-Wrinkle Muscle Relaxants and Dermal Fillers. By coupling a needling treatment with small deposits of an injectable substance you have the advantage of two treatments in one. This injectable helps to compensate for the natural loss of Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in the skin, particularly in the face and neck area. It can also assist in stimulating the production of collagen.
It’s the ultimate in skin hydration, it replenishes the skin and helps to smooth out wrinkles, enhance skin glow and restore volume.

What causes skin to age and why is Hyaluronic Acid (HA) in our body important?
Approximately 80% of facial skin ageing is attributed to sun exposure (UV rays) but other factors, such as an unbalanced diet and cigarette smoking, affects the skin’s appearance and quality over time.
Naturally present in our body, Hyaluronic acid (HA) carries out a fundamental role in keeping the skin healthy. This vital element of the dermis holds water like a sponge so as to retain its hydration.
With age your skin becomes thinner, more delicate, dehydrated and its elasticity lessens. The Skin Beauty Booster treatment targets the papillary dermis, activating fibroblasts to lay down new collagen and elastin, resulting in a denser and more-supple dermis.
What can you expect when you have your Skin Beauty Booster treatment?
The V2 Injector system (Vital Injector 2 gun) uses micro needles to deliver small amounts of an injectable under the skin. These injections are tracked along the lines of wrinkles and spread evenly over the area treated.
Treatments can vary depending on the area being treated, but last approximately 20 – 40 minutes.

Is the Skin Beauty Booster treatment painful?
As with any injection you may experience some discomfort, but this is minimal and numbing cream can be applied prior to your treatment.
Are there any side effects and is there any downtime after the Skin Beauty Booster treatment?
Side effects and downtime are normally minimal. Most patients have minimal or no post bruising after the treatment, but others may experience bruised and blotchy skin which can take up to 4 – 5 days to settle.
How long do the effects of the Skin Beauty Booster treatment last?
To achieve optimal results it is recommended that you initially have at least 3 treatments at 3 week intervals and then follow up with maintenance treatments of 3 treatments per year thereafter.
The injectable is absorbed by the body, so its effects are impermanent and depend on several factors: skin type, age, treatment area, injection technique.
Regular Skin Beauty Booster sessions used as your fundamental anti-ageing regime can also be done in conjunction with other treatments to prevent cutaneous ageing.
What time period should you allow to look your best?
You should allow approximately 10 days before a special event to have your treatment, this will give the treatment and any side effects time to settle.
Is the V2 Injector Skin Beauty Booster treatment TGA approved?
Yes, it is included in the Australian Register of Therapeutic Goods (ARTG).
